The 2026 Flying Pig 5K is a community fundraiser. The event benefits children’s programs at Foothills Gateway, including the Family Support Services Program (FSSP). It is the 17th annual event.

Event Details

The course is open to runners, walkers, and rollers. The event takes place at Spring Canyon Park in Fort Collins. The start and finish are near a covered pavilion on the north side of the park. Parking and registration should be accessed via the S. Overland Trail entrance.

Race day registration is available for a fee of $40. This registration opens in the morning and closes before the start.

A separate children’s activity called the Piglet Race is also part of the event. It includes games and prizes. Participants are advised to plan for Colorado weather conditions. Age group prizes are awarded after the main race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
