Flying Fox 10 (NSRRA)
The Flying Fox 10 is an undulating 10 mile road race held in the Staffordshire village of Standon. First run in 2003 and named in honour of the club logo, it appears on the North Staffs Road Runners Association programme.
The course follows quiet country lanes from Standon through the villages of Chapel Chorlton and Maer and includes some short hills. The race finishes at All Saints School in Standon (ST21 6RN). Refreshments are provided at the finish and there is car parking available at nearby Standon Mill, with a limited number of additional parking spots on the lanes close to the venue.
Entry fees are listed as £23 for affiliated runners and £25 for unaffiliated runners. The event sold out in the previous year. Course record times recorded for the event are 50:15 (2025) and 1:00:04 (2024).
