Event overview
The Flying Brick Bellarine Sunset Run is a coastal trail running and walking event on the Bellarine Peninsula. The 11th edition is scheduled for Saturday, 14 February 2026, with a backup date on the morning of Sunday, 15 February 2026. The event is family organised and takes place between Portarlington and St Leonards, with Portarlington Pier listed as a key location.
The event complements multiple race distances and promotes awareness of the link between exercise and children’s mental health. Fundraising activity for Bellarine Community Health - Youth Services is part of the event program.
Race details
- Half Marathon (ProFeet) - out-and-back course starting from Portarlington Pier
- 10 km (Steigen) - listed as 10.5 km; bus included in the entry fee
- 4 km (McColl’s Transport Bully Buster) - untimed run or walk
Walkers are welcomed in all events and there are no time cutoffs. An early start option is offered for shufflers in the half marathon. Medals are provided for all finishers. Bib pickup is available the day before at Flying Brick Cider Co and on the main day at Portarlington Pier. Registration pricing varies by event and period and includes mandatory charges.
