Flyin' Lion 5K - Granger
Saint Pius X Church hosts the seventh annual Flyin' Lion 5K during its weekend festivities for the feast day of the parish patron. The event includes a chip timed 5K race and a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, with both routes starting and ending at Saint Pius X Church in Granger, Indiana. Post-race celebrations are part of the event.

Proceeds from the event support teens and young adults from Saint Pius X Church who will travel for World Youth Day and for Youth Ministry programs. World Youth Day is described as a large international pilgrimage gathering many young Catholics. The Youth Ministry activities include annual camps, conferences, and a mission trip to Appalachia that helps restore substandard homes.
