FlyBy 5K and 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk
The FlyBy 5K and 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk presented by CNX Resources takes place on September 19, 2026 at Pittsburgh International Airport. The course passes through airport taxiways and airfield areas, giving participants a side of the airport few get to see. The 5K is a timed event on a closed course along the taxiways.

Event amenities include a race shirt, a finisher's medal, post-race food and entertainment, and a post-race party that features a Touch-a-Truck with airport equipment. The overall course pace requirement is 20:00 minutes per mile for both the 5K and the 2 Mile Fun Run.
Practical details: free parking is available at the Park N Ride behind Sheetz on University Blvd, with shuttles to the start line area. Strollers are permitted in the 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk; strollers are discouraged in the 5K and those who use one must start at the back of the starting corral. There is no age minimum; children ages four and under can be registered at no additional cost. Everyone on the course, including persons in strollers, must be registered. Dogs and other animals are not permitted on the course.
