Race details

The Flower Scar Fell Race takes place on 21 February 2026 at Todmorden Cricket Club, Centre Vale / Burnley Road, Todmorden OL14 7BS. The route starts close to Todmorden town centre and uses South Pennine moor and paths. The course distance is 13.3 km with approximately 660 m of climb. The event is an FRA Category AM race and the minimum age for entry is 18. Course records listed for 2024 are 1:00:41 (male) and 1:08:10 (female).

Entries, cutoffs and practical information

Pre-entry only via SiEntries; entries open 18 November 2025 and close 16 February 2026. Entry fees are £10 for FRA members and £12 for non-members. Teams are allowed with separate male and female team scoring (top three counters).

There is a cutoff at CP1 set at 50 minutes from the start; runners who cannot meet this time will be asked to return to race HQ. Race HQ is within a short walk of Todmorden railway station and parking is available at the Cricket Club and on surrounding streets. Hot food (meat and vegan chilli) is available from race HQ at £6 per head.

Participants must carry FRA mandatory kit: waterproof jacket and waterproof trousers with taped seams, hat (a Buff is not accepted), gloves, map and compass, whistle, and emergency food.
