Floss & Run

Floss & Run is a fundraiser for The Dental Foundation of Oregon's Tooth Taxi. The event takes place at Rock Creek Country Club, 5100 NW Neakahnie Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97229.

Participants follow a professionally rolled, gently challenging golf path in a private setting under giant Douglas Firs. The course uses a figure-eight layout to manage stroller traffic and provide space for walkers and runners.

Distances offered:

• 1K race for children 11 and under
• 5K run
• 5K walk with stroller-friendly start

All registered participants receive a reusable swag bag that includes a Tooth Taxi headband, dental and health items, a raffle ticket, and free entry into a putting contest. Additional raffle tickets and putting contest entries are available on site for $10. Each finisher receives a medal and the top three finishers in each age category receive medals.

The host club has a bar and grill with drinks and food for purchase. Parking is free. Virtual race options and team entries are available. All proceeds support free dental care and education provided by the Tooth Taxi. The Tooth Taxi operates 48 weeks a year; in 2025 it provided care to 1,027 children at 32 schools and neighborhood centers, with nearly $634,000 in free services.
