Flora-Bama's Beach Run/Walk for America's Warriors

Flora-Bama's 13th Annual Beach Run/Walk for America's Warriors takes place on the white sand beaches behind the Flora-Bama Lounge in Pensacola, FL on Saturday, March 14, 2026. All courses run on sand along the Gulf shoreline across Florida and Alabama. Distances offered:

• Half Marathon - 10.5 km; starts and ends at the Flora-Bama on sand.
• 5K - 5 km; 2.5 km west in Alabama then turn around and return to the Flora-Bama.

Logistics and support

Packet pick up and last-minute registration are at the Flora-Bama under the tent: Friday, March 13 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and morning pick-up on race day (separate windows for each race). The first 400 registrants receive an event T-shirt. All half marathon finishers receive a finisher medal; the first 400 5K finishers receive a medal. All participants receive a post-race breakfast buffet and two complimentary draft beers (21+) or non-alcoholic beverage options. No race-day refunds or transfers are allowed; a 7.5% sales tax is added to entries as required by Florida law. Maps are provided for distance reference only; the race is held on the beach, not on roads. One hundred percent of registration fees for these races will be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which provides scholarships, educational and family counseling to surviving children of fallen special operations personnel and immediate financial assistance for severely wounded personnel and their families.
