Fleetwood Triathlon
Fleetwood Triathlon is held at Fleetwood Leisure Centre on the Esplanade, FY7 6HF. The event combines an indoor pool swim, a fully traffic-free bike circuit on the promenade, and a flat coastal run on the sea wall. Chip timing provides live multi-stage splits for swim, transitions, bike, and run.

- Adult Sprint: 400m swim, 20km bike, 5km run
- Youth and TriStar junior waves
The swim takes place in the heated 25m Fleetwood pool with individual staggered starts seeded by estimated 400m finish times. Transition 1 and Transition 2 use a secure car park hub adjacent to the pool; athletes exit the pool into the transition area and remount at the promenade mount line.
The bike leg is a 20km course on The Esplanade made up of four 5km laps on closed roads. The circuit includes a tight U-turn near Balmoral Terrace and runs south toward Rossall Grange Lane by the golf course before returning to transition.
The run is a flat 5km out and back along the sea wall coastal path, passing Marine Hall, boating lakes, and the Coastguard station before finishing at the StuWeb arch. Junior and TriStart waves are scheduled separately from the adult sprint.
Practical notes include a British Triathlon Race Pass requirement for non annual members (day license approx £5–£8), and finisher items such as a commemorative medal, goody bag, and free downloadable finisher photos. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
