Flat Rock Trail Race

The Flat Rock Trail Race takes place on June 13, 2026, in Dunstable, Massachusetts, at 510 High Street. The event offers two race options:

5 mile run/walk/hike
6 hour race using repeated 5 mile loops

The course begins along the Massachusetts/New Hampshire border and follows the old Nashua, Acton and Boston railroad bed. Runners pass over the stone Arched Bridge, cross a field that was formerly the Ferrari farm and a granite quarry, and move through New England woods. The route reaches a peak on the former Blanchard Hill Ski Area, descends to an aid station, climbs again to the top of Flat Rock Hill, and then returns across former farmland on single track trails to the start and finish. Each 5 mile loop has nearly 600 feet of elevation gain.

All proceeds from the Flat Rock Trail Race benefit the Humane Society for Greater Nashua. The organizers acknowledge the Dunstable Conservation Commission and the Dunstable Rural Land Trust for the use of the property. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
