Event overview
The Flat Rock Trail Race takes place in Dunstable, Massachusetts on June 13, 2026. The event offers two options:
- 5-mile trail run/walk/hike
- 6-hour event using repeated 5-mile loops
All proceeds benefit the Humane Society for Greater Nashua. The race is held rain or shine. Registration opens January 1, 2026. There are no refunds or deferrals; entry fees are treated as donations. Volunteer signups open in late April. The organizer thanks the Dunstable Conservation Commission, the Dunstable Rural Land Trust, and the Town of Dunstable for use of the trails.
Course details
The course is a marked 5-mile loop with nearly 600 feet of elevation gain per loop. The loop route includes the Mass/New Hampshire border, the old Nashua, Acton and Boston railroad bed, the stone Arched Bridge, a field that was the Ferrari farm and a former granite quarry, the former Blanchard Hill Ski Area summit, an aid station, Flat Rock Hill, and single-track trails across former farmland. The start/finish is at 510 High Street, Dunstable.
