Flat Rock Trail Race : June 13, 2026
The Flat Rock Trail Race takes place in Dunstable, Massachusetts at 510 High Street on June 13, 2026. Proceeds benefit the Humane Society for Greater Nashua. Registration opens January 1, 2026. Volunteer signups will open in late April. The event is held rain or shine; there are no refunds or deferrals.
Course and race options
The course is a marked 5-mile loop with nearly 600 feet of elevation gain per loop. Key course features include the Arched Bridge, a section of the old Nashua, Acton and Boston railroad bed, a former granite quarry and farm, climbs to the tops of the old Blanchard Hill Ski Area and Flat Rock Hill, single-track trails, and an aid station. Each loop returns to the start/finish area at the same location.
Distances:
- 5 miles - one loop on the marked trail
- 6 hours - complete as many 5-mile loops as desired within six hours
If exceptionally heavy rain before the event would likely damage trails, the Dunstable Conservation Commission may cancel or postpone the race. The Dunstable Conservation Commission and the Dunstable Rural Land Trust have granted permission to use the property. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
