Course and race services
The course uses a new tarmac path and the Velopark layout. Runners complete two laps of the Velopark, then an out-and-back section on recently laid smooth, flat tarmac to the finish line used for the Donut Duathlon. The event is described as traffic free and takes place on tarmac.
Race entry includes flapjacks for finishers, professional RFID chip timing, fully marked and marshalled routes, a finishers medal and podium prizes, water at a feedstation, toilets and changing rooms, professional first aid, event caterers, and public liability insurance. Professional event photos are available; lower-resolution images with the organiser logo are included, with higher-resolution downloads available for an additional charge.
Additional information
There is on-site parking at the leisure centre car park; a special arrangement sets a maximum parking charge of £5.30 for the day when a voucher from reception is displayed on the windscreen.
