Event overview
The Flapjack 5K is a timed 5K road race on Sunday 15 March 2026 at Torbay Velopark, Penwill Way, Paignton, TQ4 5JR. The course is traffic free and held on flat, smooth tarmac. The route begins with two laps of the Velopark, then continues as an out-and-back on the newly laid tarmac path to the event finish line shared with the Donut Duathlon. Minimum age is 11 on the day of the race.
Services, logistics and awards
Race entry includes chip timing with instant results, a flapjack for all finishers, a finishers medal and podium medals, toilets and changing rooms, professional first aid, event caterers and public liability insurance. Professional event photos are provided with the event logo at social media resolution; high-resolution downloads and prints are available for an additional charge. Personalised race numbers are issued for entries made at least two weeks before the event.
Parking is in the Leisure Centre car park and is payable; a special arrangement sets a maximum daily parking fee of £5.30, after which a voucher must be collected from reception and displayed on the windscreen. Organisers note that overhanging bike racks may risk a parking ticket. Podium awards cover Top 3 overall and age-category podiums including Vet 40 and Vet 50; Tristar categories have Top 3 boys and girls and special medals for novices in the 8-10 and 11-14 age groups.
