Flapjack 5K - Paignton
The Flapjack 5K is a measured road race held at Torbay Velopark in Paignton on March 14, 2027. The course uses a new, officially measured route (26/025) that combines two laps of the Velopark with an out-and-back section on recently laid smooth, flat tarmac to a finish line shared with the Donut Duathlon.
The event offers chip timing with instant results and a traffic free surface on smooth tarmac. All finishers receive a cast metal medal and a flapjack. Professional event photos are provided with a Sportiva Events logo at social media resolution; high resolution downloads and prints are available for an additional charge. Race numbers can be personalised for entries received at least two weeks before the event.
Minimum age for the 5K is 11 on the day of the race. Safety and support include professional first aid, toilets and changing rooms, public liability insurance, and on-site caterers. Podium medals are awarded to top finishers in overall and age categories, with a one prize per person policy. Tristar categories include awards for boys and girls, and special medals are given to top novices in the 8-10 and 11-14 age groups.
Parking is available in the Leisure Centre car park with a maximum daily charge of £5.30; a voucher collected from reception must be displayed on the windscreen. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
