Event overview
The Flapjack 5K is a 5-kilometre road race held at Torbay Velopark, Penwill Way, Paignton, TQ4 5JR on 15 March 2026. The course is traffic-free and run on flat, smooth tarmac. The route starts with two laps of the Velopark, then continues as an out-and-back along a newly laid tarmac path and finishes at the same line used for the Donut Duathlon held later the same day.
Entries, categories and facilities
The event lists separate entry categories for under-17 and over-17 participants, with published entry prices in ranges of £10–£12 for under-17s and £16–£18 for over-17s. Race entry includes RFID chip timing, route marshals and markings, a finishers medal, flapjack for finishers, feedstation water, event facilities and toilets, trained medical cover, event caterers and public liability insurance. Professional event photos and personalised race numbers (for entries made two weeks before the race) are also offered.
Awards and parking
There is a medal for all finishers and podium medals for top finishers across overall and age categories; a one-prize-per-person policy is applied for category awards. Parking is available in the leisure centre car park; a special arrangement allows a maximum daily charge of £5.30 by paying at the machines or app and displaying a voucher from reception.
