The 14th annual Flag Day 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for June 13, 2026 at St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze, Florida, located at 6464 Gulf Breeze Parkway. It is a certified out and back 5K event that includes running, walking, baby jogger and wheelchair divisions.
The route goes through a Navarre residential neighborhood. The course is paved, clearly marked with signs, and traffic control will be provided by local law enforcement. The course is described as fast and flat with minimal curves and no inclines.
Event amenities include cooling stations at the finish line and a post race pancake breakfast served by the Knights of Columbus in the parish center. Packet pick up is available beginning Friday, June 12, 2026 between 3:30 pm and 7:30 pm and on race day between 6:30 am and 7:00 am.
Proceeds for the event are divided between Heroes on the Water and Navarre Community Outreach. The event is organized by the Columbiettes. Over the first 14 races the event averaged over 300 participants from several states and has raised approximately $150,000 for charitable causes.
