Beneficiary
The event supports the 1st Lt. Derek Hines Soldier’s Assistance Fund. This fund provides financial assistance for Massachusetts soldiers and their families who have incurred serious, career-ending, or life-altering injuries while on active duty.
Registration and Included Items
Registration includes an official event T-shirt and a commemorative finisher's medal. For participants aged 21 and over, a post-race beer is also included. There is a specific, lower registration fee category for veterans. Active-duty military personnel can register for free. A virtual participation option is also available, where participants can track their run or walk between June 10th and 12th and submit their time to a virtual leaderboard.
Schedule and Logistics
Packet pickup is available on the Friday before the race at Cashman Park. The schedule also includes a kids' fun run and a speaking program before the main 5K event. A post-race party begins shortly after the race starts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
