Richmond Park December 5k, 10k and Half Marathon
The event takes place in Richmond Park at East Sheen Carpark, Sheen Gate, London SW14 8BJ, on Sunday 14 December 2025. Online entries close on 8 December 2025. There will be no on-the-day entries for this event. Race packs are collected at registration on the day and bag storage is available with limited space. The event hub is on the grass area to the left of East Sheen Gate carpark.
Distances and course
- 5k - one lap
- 10k - two laps
- Half marathon - four laps
The course is a mix of country paths, trail and some cross-country sections. The first 2 km include a gradual incline. The route is slightly undulating and may be altered before the event if necessary. Organisers recommend trail shoes. Off-road buggies are allowed and the course is wheelchair friendly, though some sections are on grass or trail.
Race operations and facilities
Timing uses chip-on-bib numbers and results go live during the event via the Results Base system and the event website. Water is available at the start/finish and at the 5 km point. Marshals are placed around the course. Every finisher receives a medal and trophies are awarded to overall winners. The organiser states typical cut-off times of 2 hours for 5k/10k and 3 hours for half marathons. Participants are reminded the park is public land, to keep left unless directed otherwise, and that deer may cross the paths. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
