Five Alarm 5k and Chili Cook Off at Bierstadt Lagerhaus
The Colorado Brewery Running Series presents a brewery based event in Denver on October 25, 2026 that combines a 5k fun run with a chili cook off at Bierstadt Lagerhaus. The course is an untimed, roughly 5k loop that starts and ends at the brewery and is marked with chalk arrows, signs, and volunteers. The event is held on an open course so roads will not be closed and participants must obey traffic laws and local regulations.
The event package includes one free craft brew at the finish line, tasters from Chili Cook Off competitors, and the choice of a collector pint glass or a seasonal swag item. The site will offer live music, food trucks, local vendors, merchandise, door prizes, and other on site activities from partners and sponsors. Underage participants receive a token for a non alcoholic beverage and anyone who wishes to drink alcohol must present a valid ID. Dogs, running strollers, and children under 12 are permitted on the course. Ten percent of registration fees for this event are designated to the Retired Firefighters Association of Denver.
The Chili Cook Off accepts up to 30 competitors on a first come, first serve basis. Competitors enter for free, supply at least a crock pot size of chili, and provide their own crock pot, extension cord, and serving utensils.
