FitPro 5K Run / Fun Walk
The FitPro 5K Run / Fun Walk takes place on August 22, 2026 in Clinton, Iowa. The course follows riverbank scenery and the race starts and finishes on Grant Street between Main Avenue and 25th Avenue North. The start line is located just north of the Sawmill Museum at 2231 Grant Street.
Packet pickup is available at FitPro 360, 2318 N 3rd Street, Clinton. Packet pickup times include Friday, August 21, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and the morning of the event at the race location. Registration is handled through the Get Me Registered platform; the published entry fee is $35 before March 31, 2026 and $40 after April 1, 2026. Day-of registration is available.
A free 12 week 5K training program for beginners is offered as a downloadable resource. There are registration deadlines specified for receiving a FitPro 5K T-shirt.
A portion of each registration supports Veterans Breakthrough, a nonprofit that helps veterans transition to civilian life by rebuilding confidence, creating social connections, and developing mental and physical strength through programs such as Jiu-Jitsu.
The event is planned to run rain or shine unless conditions are deemed dangerous. Organizers may alter, shorten, delay, or cancel the race for safety reasons; refunds are not provided for cancelled events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
