FitPro 5K Run / Fun Walk
FitPro 5K is a community run and fun walk held in Clinton, Iowa, on August 21, 2027. The course runs along the riverbanks and starts and finishes on Main Avenue between Grant and Harding Street. The start line is located just north of the Sawmill Museum at 2231 Grant Street, Clinton, IA 52732.

The organizer offers a free 12-week 5K training program aimed at beginners. Pre-race packet pick-up is listed as available. A portion of each registration is donated to Veterans Breakthrough, a nonprofit that helps veterans with transition, confidence, and mental and physical recovery through programs such as Jiu-Jitsu.
Safety and contingency planning are described in detail. The event is planned as rain or shine unless local safety officials advise changes. In unsafe conditions the course, distances, or schedule may be altered, shortened, delayed, or cancelled. Aid stations may be self-service in some situations. Refunds are not provided for cancelled races; participants are referred to the waiver signed at registration for policy details.
