FitFest 5k
The 4th Annual FitFest 5k takes place in Crossville, Tennessee, at 2800 Cook Road. This event is organized by Crossville Fit Fest Inc., a local nonprofit organization, and promotes health and well-being through active participation. All proceeds from the race are reinvested into the nonprofit organization to support the annual hosting of the competition.
Participants can complete the 5 km distance by either running or walking. The course is monitored by the City of Crossville police, who assist with traffic control to ensure safety along the route. The event is open to diverse groups, as strollers and dogs are permitted on the course.
The race features professional chip timing for all participants. Awards are presented across several age categories, including:
- 19 and under
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60+
Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers within each age group. Additionally, the event recognizes an overall male and female winner.
