Fishkill Freedom 5K Festival & 1 Mile Fun Run
The Fishkill Freedom event on May 2, 2026, at 106 Jackson Street in Fishkill, NY, combines a 5K color run and a 1 mile kids fun run with a community festival. Proceeds support St. Mary’s School and a portion will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A burst of blue and gold color powder marks the finish line and all participants receive a finisher prize. Two water stations are provided along the course, and a post race snack station will offer items such as bananas, bagels, granola bars, and bottled water.
The festival includes an indoor and outdoor vendor market with over 50 vendors, live music, raffles, food from Panera and The Bagel Shoppe, free ice cream by Stewart’s, free yoga sessions by Rock Om Yoga, face painting, and a photo booth. Professional finish line photos will be available for viewing after the event. The event is held rain or shine and is non refundable.
