The event is a fundraiser for Fishcreek Elementary and is presented as a community health and wellness activity for students and local residents. Strollers are permitted; bicycles, scooters, and skateboards are not allowed.

Location and race logistics

The race and packet pick up take place at Heritage Barn, 5238 Young Road, Stow, OH 44224. Parking is available via the Stow Road entrance only; the Young Road entrance is closed to traffic on race morning. A water stop is provided near Fishcreek Elementary between miles 1 and 2. Packet pick up, sponsor booths, raffle baskets, and additional event swag sales are part of the pre-race activities. Because the event raises funds for the school, registrations are nonrefundable.
