Fishbein YMCA Community Road Race - Wallingford, CT
A longstanding community road race tradition in Wallingford continues under the Wallingford Family YMCA in collaboration with Celebrate Wallingford. The event takes place on October 4, 2026, and brings together multiple race options and community partners to support residents in need.
Event distances include:
- 5K Run
- Healthy Living 1K Walk
- Youth Race 1 Mile
Registration is available online and remains open until race day morning. Registered participants may collect race bibs at advance packet pickup or on race morning. Participants should allow time on race day for parking and check-in.
Entry fees and shirt availability are tiered and limited. 5K adult pricing is $30 before January 1, $35 from January 1 to October 1, and $40 thereafter. Reduced 5K entry of $5 applies to under 19 participants. The 1 mile youth race fee is $5. The Healthy Living 1K walk is $10 and is free for LiveSTRONG at the Y participants. A race shirt is included for the first 200 5K participants and the first 100 walkers; shirts may be available for purchase on race day for $10.
Awards for the 5K include top three overall male and female finishers and the top finisher in each age category: 1-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
