First Steps - Run Walk Roll for All Abilities
First Steps Run Walk Roll for All Abilities is a fundraising event benefitting First Steps, Inc. The in-person portion takes place at the Lipscomb Academy football, track and field facility at the corner of Leland and Caldwell Avenue in Nashville on Saturday, April 11, 2026. A virtual participation option is available during the April 11 to April 30, 2026 window.
The event brings together the Child Development Center, pediatric therapy, and outreach program for a family friendly day that includes short track fun runs and a one mile walk. Children may wear costumes and are encouraged to bring wheeled items such as strollers, bikes, scooters, or wagons.
Important logistical notes are provided by the organizer: all attendees, including children, should be registered; participants must check in at the designated check-in table before entering the athletic complex; and dogs are not allowed on site. The event welcomes people of all ages and abilities.
