Saskatoon First Responders Half Marathon
The event takes place on Sunday, October 18, 2026 in Saskatoon with the start and finish located on the south side of Diefenbaker Park. The course follows pathways along the North Saskatchewan River and the Meewasin Trail, crossing the Circle Drive pedestrian bridge and continuing onto the Spadina Crescent pathway to a turnaround just before Meewasin Park, then returning to the finish on the same route.
Distances offered:
- 21.1 km Half Marathon
- 10 km with a turnaround near the Delta Bessborough Hotel
- 5 km with a 2.5 km turnaround
- 1 km Fun Run
Water stations are provided at approximately every 2.5 kilometres. Ample parking is available around Diefenbaker Park. Race results will be posted at racepros.ca.
Standard entry fees listed by the organizer are $85 for the half marathon, $55 for 10 km, $45 for 5 km and $25 for 1 km, with published fee increases on January 1, May 1 and October 1. Entries received after October 2 are not guaranteed event merchandise.
Team entries and awards: teams of four may register a team name; this is not a relay and all team members run together. Team time is calculated as the average of the four individual times; individual times are also recorded. Age-group awards use chip time and cover divisions from under 20 through 70 plus. First, second and third place age-group recipients receive entry discounts for the following year rather than physical medals.
Registered participants receive an entry package that may include a short sleeve cotton T-shirt, a finisher medal, chip timing subject to minimum attendance, aid stations, post race snacks and eligibility for draw prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
