First Responders Half Marathon Saskatoon
The event takes place on October 18, 2026, at Rotary Park in Saskatoon, with routes along the Meewasin Trail beside the North Saskatchewan River. The half marathon is a two‑lap course starting at Rotary Park, crossing Victoria Bridge, then heading north on Meewasin Trail to a turnaround near Circle Drive North Bridge. The 10 km and 5 km routes follow Meewasin Trail to their respective turnaround points; a 1 km fun run is also offered.
Distances offered
- 21.1 km (half marathon)
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 1 km
Entry packages include a commemorative cotton t-shirt if registered before October 2, a finisher medal, chip timing with event updates (subject to minimum attendance), aid stations supplying hydration about every 2.5 km, post‑race snacks, and eligibility for draw prizes. Team entries are available for the 21 km and 10 km: teams of four run together, this is not a relay, and team results are calculated as the average of the four individual times; all team members must complete the course to receive a team time.
The race supports OSI CAN and the Canadian Mental Health Association Saskatchewan Division. All entries are non‑refundable. A Run for Charity option offers a reduced entry fee in exchange for a fundraising commitment with a minimum $400 target for OSI CAN. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
