FIREMEN'S 5 : Bremen, IN

The FIREMEN'S 5 on June 13, 2026, is the 12th anniversary edition of the Bremen Firemen’s Festival 5k Race and Gear Run Challenge presented by Southwire. The event donates 100% of proceeds to The Hoosier Burn Camp for Kids.

The course is a closed road route that is chip timed, beginning at Jane's Park and finishing at the Firemen's Festival at Sunnyside Park. Firefighter gear runners compete for a traveling trophy axe that is displayed at the winning station. Separate age group awards are given, while monetary payouts apply to the overall men's and women's 5k winners only; overall prizes include $150 for first place and $25 for second place.

Registration fees for the 5k Run/Gear Run/Walk are listed as $30 for early registration, $35 after May 17, and $40 on race day. The t-shirt registration deadline is June 4. A 1 mile fun run fee is $15. A social referral discount saves $2 when a friend signs up. Race packet pickup is available at the start line on race day only. Strollers are welcome and have a designated starting area. Race results are posted on the Bremen Firemen's 5 Facebook page.
