Firefighter 5K - Atlanta (September 12, 2026)
The Firefighter 5K is hosted by Atlanta's Bravest and takes place on September 12, 2026. The event starts and finishes at Atlanta Fire Rescue Station 1, located at 71 Elliott St SW, Atlanta, GA 30313. The distance is a 5K open to participants ages 8 and older. All proceeds benefit the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation. Event swag includes a short sleeve adidas shirt.
Registration opens May 12, 2026 and online registration closes September 11 at 9:00 p.m. Entry fees vary by date: $40 through June 12, $50 through July 24, $55 through September 11, and $65 onsite. Additional fees apply.
The 5K course has a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes, which corresponds to a 25 minute per mile pace. For safety and course management, headphones, pets, and wheeled conveyances of any kind including strollers, roller/inline skates, and bicycles are not permitted. Events are held rain or shine, though lightning or other severe weather in the event vicinity may result in delay or cancellation under the club’s policies on weather, refunds, and cancellations.
