The Firefighter 5K is organized by Atlanta Track Club and hosted by Atlanta Fire Rescue. The event is scheduled for September 12, 2026 and the start and finish are located at Atlanta Fire Rescue Station 1, 71 Elliott St SW, Atlanta, GA 30313.
The course distance is 5K and is open to participants ages 8 and older. The 5K has a course time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes, which corresponds to a 25 minute per mile pace. For safety, headphones, pets and wheeled conveyances of any kind, including strollers, roller or inline skates, and bicycles, are not permitted on the course.
All proceeds benefit the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation. Registered participants receive a short sleeve adidas shirt. Registration opens May 12, 2026; online registration closes September 11, 2026 at 9:00 p.m. Event pricing is tiered: $40 through June 12, 2026; $50 through July 24, 2026; $55 through September 11, 2026; and $65 onsite. Additional fees apply.
