Firefighter 5K Atlanta
The Firefighter 5K takes place on September 12, 2026 and is hosted by Atlanta's Bravest with Atlanta Track Club listed as the event organizer. The start and finish are located at Atlanta Fire Rescue Station 1, 71 Elliott St SW, Atlanta, GA 30313. All proceeds benefit the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation. Events are held rain or shine though lightning or other severe weather may result in delay or cancellation.
The race distance is 5K and is open to ages 8 and older. The course time limit for the 5K is 1 hour and 15 minutes, equivalent to a 25 minute per mile pace. For safety, no headphones, pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind including strollers, roller or inline skates, and bicycles are permitted on the course.
Registration opens May 12, 2026. Online registration closes September 11, 2026. Entry fees increase in stages and additional fees apply: $40 through June 12, $50 through July 24, $55 through September 11, and higher onsite pricing.
Race swag includes a short sleeve adidas shirt. Timing uses a MYLAPS ThinTag on the back of the bib and bibs must be visible, unaltered, and securely pinned for accurate results. Awards are given to overall and masters winners based on gun time, with age group awards based on net time and additional recognition for top firefighters.
