Firefighter 5K in Atlanta

The Firefighter 5K takes place on September 12, 2026, with the start and finish at Atlanta Fire Rescue Station 1. The event benefits the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation and is presented by Atlanta Track Club. Events are held rain or shine; the presence of lightning or other severe weather in the vicinity may result in delay or cancellation.

The course is a 5K open to participants ages 8 and older, with a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes (approximately a 25 minute per mile pace). For safety, headphones, pets and wheeled conveyances of any kind are not permitted on the course; this includes strollers, roller or inline skates, and bicycles.

Event registration opens May 12, 2026, and online registration closes September 11, 2026. Entry pricing progresses in tiers: $40 through June 12, 2026; $50 through July 24, 2026; $55 through September 11, 2026; and $65 for onsite registration. Additional fees apply.
