Firefighter 5K - Atlanta
The Firefighter 5K in Atlanta is scheduled for September 12, 2026. The event starts and finishes at Atlanta Fire Rescue Station 1, 71 Elliott St SW. All proceeds benefit the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation.
The course distance is 5K and is open to participants aged 8 and older. A short sleeve adidas shirt is provided as event swag. The 5K has a course time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes, which corresponds to a 25 minute per mile pace.
Registration opens on May 12, 2026. Online registration closes on September 11, 2026. Entry fees change over time: $40 through June 12, 2026; $50 through July 24, 2026; $55 through September 11, 2026; and $65 for onsite registration. Additional fees apply.
Atlanta Track Club events are held rain or shine. The presence of lightning or other severe weather in the event area may result in a delay or cancellation. For safety on the course, no headphones, pets, or wheeled conveyances of any kind are permitted, including strollers, roller or inline skates, and bicycles.
