Firecracker 5K: Williamsport
The Firecracker 5K in Williamsport includes a 5K run and a 5K walk. Both events take place at 2840 Heshbon Road, Williamsport, PA 17701. Regular registration carries a fee of $30 and race day registration is available for $35.
Proceeds benefit the Williamsport Area Swim Club (WASC). WASC is a year round swim team that provides instruction, training and competition to people of all ages and abilities. The club participates in national events sanctioned by USA Swimming.
The course is flat and uses the bike path and Heshbon Road. The route is described as kid and stroller friendly.
T-shirts are available for online registrations submitted through June 23. Awards for runners include top three overall male and female finishers and top three male and female finishers in each age group.
