Firecracker 5K : Williamsport, PA

The Firecracker 5K takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026 in Williamsport, PA. The event includes two entries:

5K Run
5K Walk

The venue address is 2840 Heshbon Road, Williamsport, PA 17701. All proceeds benefit the Williamsport Area Swim Club (WASC). WASC is a year round swim team that provides instruction, training and competition to people of all ages and abilities and participates in events sanctioned by USA Swimming.

Course, registration and awards

The course is described as flat and fast on the bike path and Heshbon Road. It is noted as kid and stroller friendly. T-shirts are sold out and will not be available for online or race day registrants after 6/23.

Registration opens December 16, 2025. The standard entry fee is $30. Race day registration will be available the morning of the event for a $35 fee.

Awards for runners include top three overall male and female and top three male and female finishers in each age group. Awards for walkers include top three overall male and female. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
