Firecracker 5K - Williamsport
The Firecracker 5K takes place on July 4, 2026 in Heshbon Park in Loyalsock Township, Williamsport, PA. The event includes a 5K run and a 5K walk and is organized to benefit the Williamsport Area Swim Club (WASC).
All proceeds benefit the Williamsport Area Swim Club. WASC is a year round swim team that provides instruction, training and competition to people of all ages and abilities and participates in national events sanctioned by USA Swimming.
Course details note a flat, fast route that uses the bike path and Heshbon Road. The course is described as kid and stroller friendly. T shirts will be available for online registrations through June 23.
Awards are given to runners and walkers. Runners receive awards for the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female in each age group. Walkers receive awards for the top three overall male and female finishers.
Online registration is listed with a standard fee of $30 and closes on July 1, 2026. Race day registration will be available the morning of the event; the registration fee on race day is $35. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
