Event Overview
The Firecracker 5K is the 19th annual running event organized by Oldham County Parks and Recreation. It takes place in July.
Location & Course
The race is held at Schamback Park in Westport, Kentucky, which is located on the Ohio River. The course is a 5K distance that starts and ends within the park. It travels out of the park onto roads around the town of Westport.
Participant Details
All participants receive a finish medal. Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a short sleeve t-shirt. Shirts for late registrants or those who register on the day of the race are available while supplies last.
Awards & Schedule
Awards are presented to the overall male and female finishers, and to top finishers in numerous age groups, from 10 & Under up to 80 & Over. Packet pickup occurs on race day at the shelter in Schamback Park. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
