Firecracker 5K and Sparkler 1-Mile Fun Run - Tallahassee
The Firecracker 5K and Sparkler 1-Mile Fun Run takes place on July 4, 2026 at Cascades Park, 1001 South Gadsden Street, Tallahassee FL 32301. The event is a family-friendly 5K walk/run held annually to assist the Capital City Kiwanis Club and the Virtual Kiwanis Club of the Big Bend. This year's 5K is part of a Grand Prix series and the event theme is Life, Liberty, & Pursuit of Miles.

- 5K race, part of the local Grand Prix
- 1-Mile Sparkler fun run
The event offers tiered registration fees with early bird pricing available through June 19 and standard registration through July 1 and on the event day. Fee structures include discounted rates for children 12 years and younger who receive a t-shirt at no charge. Discounts are also available for sponsors, local fitness groups, the Firecracker 5K Training Program runners, and various clubs; options exist for registration without shirts at a reduced fee.
