Firecracker 5K - Marengo
The Firecracker 5K Run/Walk is a 3.1 mile course in Marengo, Indiana, centered near 177 S Second St and the Marengo Boys and Girls Club. The route follows SR 64 and passes Marengo Cave before turning toward an underground tour portion near the one mile mark. The course doubles back to finish just outside the festival area.
The event includes an indoor segment that begins shortly after the one mile mark and extends to about the two mile mark. The indoor section moves through a warehouse area with several back and forth hairpin turns and then a corridor described as off road like but with smooth terrain.
