Firecracker 5K for the Troops presented by Leidos
The Firecracker 5K for the Troops presented by Leidos is scheduled for July 4, 2026 in Reston at Reston Town Center, 11900 Market St., Reston, VA 20190. Pre-registered participants receive a commemorative race shirt, a unique race bib, a one-of-a-kind medal, post-race snacks, free race day photos, and a digital finisher certificate. Packet pickup is available at =PR= Reston. Free race photos will be available for download after the live event when bibs are visible.
The live 5K will be electronically timed by Commonwealth Race Management using the ChronoTrack B disposable tag system and results will be posted immediately after the race. Awards in the live race will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups from 14 and under through 80 and over.
