Norman Fourth Fest Firecracker 5K & Fun Run
The event takes place on July 4, 2026 at Legacy Park in Norman, Oklahoma as part of Norman Fourth Fest. It marks America’s 250th birthday and includes a community 5K race and a 1 Mile Fun Run.

Registration opens January 12, 2026. The Firecracker 5K registration closes March 1, 2026; the 1 Mile Fun Run registration closes June 1, 2026. Fees listed by the organizer are $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile Fun Run.
Registration for participants includes a custom race bib with a timing tag for 5K participants, a commemorative 16 oz metal color changing finisher cup, a custom drawstring bag, a race series water bottle sticker, temporary patriotic tattoos, hydration samples, and event photos provided by the race photographer. A race t-shirt is available as an add on while sizes and quantities last.
The event offers youth and adult age group awards and lists Meals on Wheels Norman as its charity partner. Packet pickup information will be provided prior to the event; race day packet pickup will also be available on site, and participants are encouraged to collect packets before race day to reduce lines.
