Norman Fourth Fest Firecracker 5K & Fun Run - July 4, 2026
The Norman Fourth Fest Firecracker event takes place at Legacy Park in Norman, Oklahoma (1898 Legacy Park Drive, 73069) on July 4, 2026. It is part of Norman's annual Fourth Fest and includes both a timed 5K and a family-friendly 1 Mile fun run.

Registration opens January 12, 2026. The 5K registration closes March 1, 2026; the 1 Mile Fun Run registration closes June 1, 2026. Fees listed by the organizer are $30.00 for the 5K and $25.00 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. Onsite registration accepts payment by credit or debit card.
Registration includes a custom race bib with a timing tag for 5K participants, a commemorative 16 oz metal color-changing finisher cup, a custom drawstring bag with sample items (beeswax lip balm, pocket sunscreen, cool wipes), a water bottle sticker, and temporary patriotic tattoos. A blue cotton-blend race T-shirt is available as an add-on while sizes and quantities last.
Additional event features noted by the organizer include charity partnership with Meals on Wheels Norman, presence of local fitness representatives offering information and giveaways, sample products with an optional research opt-in, a finish-line DJ, and free race photos provided by a race photography vendor.
