Norman Fourth Fest Firecracker 5K & Fun Run
The Norman Fourth Fest Firecracker 5K & Fun Run takes place at Legacy Park in Norman, Oklahoma on July 4, 2026. The event is part of Norman’s annual Fourth Fest and marks America’s 250th birthday with birthday themed elements and patriotic decorations.

Registration opens January 12, 2026 at 18:00 for both races. The Firecracker 5K registration closes March 1, 2026 at 00:59 with a fee of $30. The Star Spangled Stroll 1 Mile Fun Run registration closes July 5, 2026 at 00:59 with a fee of $25. Race day registration will close 15 minutes prior to the race start and onsite payment is by credit or debit card only.
Registration fees include a customized race bib with timing tag for 5K participants and a commemorative 16 oz metal color changing finisher cup. An optional race t shirt is available as an add on while sizes and quantities last. The event will award youth and adult age group prizes.
This race serves as Race #1 of the 2026 Norman Parks & Rec Run Series. Full series registration offers a 20 percent savings and eligibility for end of series awards. Pre race packet pickup is available at Beanstalk Coffee & Sno, 3408 36th Ave NW, Norman, and race day pickup is available on site starting one hour before the race.
