Firecracker 4 Miler in Memory of Bill Powers
The Bill Powers Memorial Firecracker event is a 4 miles point to point road race in Brattleboro, VT. The course begins at Living Memorial Park, passes through downtown Brattleboro, and finishes at the Brattleboro Town Common. Each mile is marked along the route.
There is one water station located near Mile 2. Water and light refreshments are provided at the finish area. The event uses local or organically produced food and supplies compostable cups at the water stop and at the finish to reduce environmental impact.
Awards are given to the overall male and female winners and to the winner of each age category. Age groups are 1-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
