Event Overview

The Tulip Trot is the 14th annual 5K run/walk organized by Green Street School, taking place on May 2, 2026. It is the school's largest yearly fundraiser, with proceeds supporting school-wide enrichment programs, field trips, winter sports, and staff appreciation activities.

The event includes two activities:

A 5K run/walk with electronic chip timing provided by North Star Timing, using the Mylaps BibTag system.
A Sprout Sprint, a free event for children in kindergarten through third grade, consisting of three laps around the school.

Pricing and Registration

There are different registration periods and prices for the 5K. Students of Green Street School can register for free before May 1 at 5:00 PM. For other participants, the 5K is free for children under 12 if they register by that same deadline. For adults, the 5K price is $20 until April 1, then $25 until May 1 at 5:00 PM, and $30 on race day.

Registration for the Sprout Sprint is always free, but participants must still register. Bib pickup and race-day registration for the 5K begins at 8:30 AM on the event day. A limited number of Tulip Trot shirts will be for sale on the day of the event.
