Event overview
The Fiesta 5K Challenge is an annual community race taking place on May 2, 2026. The event includes an in-person, chip-timed 5K, a Fiesta Fun Run and a Virtual Runner option. The race is described as the 20th annual edition and will be held rain or shine. Virtual participants receive instructions by email to upload their results. The event offers free race photos and an event shirt guaranteed for registrants by April 16, 2026.
Location and packet pick up
The race is based at Cumming City Center, 423 Canton Rd., Cumming, GA 30040. Packet pick up is available at Big Peach Cumming (5485 Bethelview Rd #430, Cumming, GA) on the Friday before the race and at the race location on race day. The organizer allows picking up packets for others and provides guidance for larger packet pick ups.
Fundraising, awards and partners
Proceeds support research and care at the Emory ALS Center; the event states that 100% of funds raised supports Emory research toward ALS. Awards are given to Overall Male/Female, Overall Masters Male/Female, and the top three in multiple age groups from 10 and under through 75+.
