Field of Heroes 5K
The Field of Heroes 5K is an annual running and walking event held in Westerville, Ohio. The race takes place at the Westerville Sports Complex, located at 325 N Cleveland Ave. This event has been a part of the local Memorial Day weekend traditions for 17 years, serving as a way for the community to recognize personal heroes.
The course is set on paved recreation paths and is characterized by flat terrain. Participants run or walk through a setting that features 3,000 full-sized American flags. These flags are available for visitors to dedicate to individuals they wish to honor during the holiday weekend.
