Fido Fest 5K

Fido Fest 5K and Fun Run : Ashley Park, Newnan

Fido Fest returns in 2026 for its 10th anniversary. The event is hosted at Ashley Park in Newnan in partnership with Hearts 'n Homes Rescue. It pairs a timed 5K with a one mile fun run and a community festival focused on dogs and their owners.

• 3.1 Miles Fido Fest 5K, chip timed and a Peachtree Road Race qualifying event
• 1 Mile Fido Fest Fun Run, untimed and intended for participants with dogs and children

Registration for the 5K opens 09/21/2025 and closes on 09/25/2026; the 5K registration fee is $25.00. Fun Run registration opens 09/21/2025 and remains available through race day; the Fun Run fee is $15.00. Race day registration is available via QR code and accepts credit or debit payment only.

After the running events, the Fido Fest celebration will include food trucks, vendors, and entertainment. All proceeds from the event benefit Hearts 'n Homes Rescue, a volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to finding rescue, foster homes, or adopters for dogs at risk in Coweta County; donations are tax deductible.

Pet policies are specified: well behaved and vaccinated dogs are welcome, no more than two dogs per person is preferred, participants are expected to pick up after their pets, and water and waste bags will be available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
