Course and policies
All distances follow the same general trail course with loops and ocean views. The 5-mile course is an abbreviated version of the half-marathon course. The full marathon completes two loops of the half-marathon course. Runners begin by heading north on the Rosario head loop, return through the start/finish area, then continue the Lighthouse loop and the Lottie Point Loop. Half and full-marathon runners proceed to Pass Lake, cross the Deception Pass Bridge, run the Goose Rock loop, and complete an out-and-back to West Beach before returning over the bridge to the finish.
The Deception Pass Bridge has a height of about 180 ft and will remain open to traffic during the race; runners will use the pedestrian walkway. Races are organized with a no-refund policy. Entrants may defer, transfer to another runner, or switch to another Evergreen event; fees apply for these options. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
