FHPA First Responder's 5K - South Florida
The FHPA First Responder's 5K is scheduled for June 13, 2026 at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40th St, Miami, FL 33155. This inaugural 5K run/walk benefits the Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports public safety, community relationships, and operational assistance to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The event offers a 5K route around Tropical Park and includes family-friendly activities, commemorative medals, and event t-shirts for participants. First responders receive a $10 discount on the regular registration fee of $47, reducing their fee to $37. Registration opens January 26, 2026 and closes on June 13, 2026.
Race production and timing are provided by Southern Timing, LLC. The event uses chip timing and supplies live results with an individual results page for each participant that includes a pace breakdown, a finisher certificate, and a 20 second video of the participant crossing the start and finish line.
