Fetch 5K
The Fetch 5K is held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at The Boneyard in Madison, Wisconsin. It is described as the "Annual Dog Jog." The event includes three distance options:
- A timed 5K walk or run
- A 1 Mile Fun Walk
- A Kids 1 Mile Fun Walk
The event is held in partnership with The Boneyard Dog Park and Biergarten. Registration includes a swag bag and a BOGO drink ticket. A post-race party takes place afterwards with live music, food, a raffle, and other activities.
The 5K course is paved and chip-timed. Dogs are allowed in the event, but require a separate registration and must have a waiver on file with The Boneyard. Dogs must be at least 4 months old and up to date on vaccinations. Strollers, bicycles, skateboards, and similar wheeled items are not permitted on the course. Children under 15 are not allowed in the off-leash dog areas.
Packet pickup and same-day registration are available on the morning of the event. T-shirts and swag bags are not guaranteed for same-day registrants. The event celebrates 12 years of operation and over 4,500 dogs rescued. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
