Festival Foods Turkey Trot Stevens Point
The Festival Foods Turkey Trot in Stevens Point is an annual community event held on Thanksgiving Day at Stevens Point Area Senior High (SPASH). This event offers participants the choice of two distances through the local area, starting and finishing at the school grounds.
Participants can choose from the following course options:
- 5 Mile run
- 2 Mile walk or run
- 2 Mile Dog Jog
The event infrastructure is centered at SPASH, where participants can pick up their materials and access the start and finish lines. Parking is available in the West student lot, accessible via North Point Avenue. All registered participants receive a long-sleeve shirt and a personal pumpkin pie upon completing their course.
Specific guidelines are in place for different groups. Participants with strollers or those walking are asked to position themselves at the back of their respective distance groups. The Dog Jog is restricted specifically to the 2 Mile course, with dogs starting after the rest of the field has cleared the line. Please note that pets are not permitted inside the school buildings during materials pick-up or on the morning of the event.
Bib and t-shirt collection takes place at SPASH on the afternoon before the race and on the morning of the event. Participants must present the QR code from their confirmation email to receive their materials. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
