Course Information
This is the first ultra marathon in Portage County. The course is a 1.01-square-mile loop on the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point campus.
The Races
Participants can choose from two timed events:
- The Dormie 12-Hour Challenge: 2026
- The Dormie 6-Hour Challenge: 2026
The event has a limited field of 125 runners.
Organizer and Beneficiary
The event is organized by Steps and Strides, Inc., a nonprofit also known for Walk Wisconsin and the Wonderful Water Run. All proceeds directly benefit the UWSP Cross Country Team.
Registration
Registration fees are $125 for the 12-hour event and $100 for the 6-hour event. The price increases after January 31, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
