The Dormie Challenge: 12-Hour and 6-Hour Ultra Marathon
The Dormie Challenge takes place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin at 2050 4th Ave (UW–Stevens Point campus). The event is hosted on a 1.01-square-mile loop around the campus and is described as the first-ever ultra marathon in Portage County.
- 12-hour challenge : entry fee $125
- 6-hour challenge : entry fee $100

The event is organized by Steps and Strides, Inc., a nonprofit organization. Proceeds from the event benefit the UWSP Cross Country Team. The field is limited to 125 runners.
