Fernie Half Marathon

The Fernie Half Marathon, held annually in Fernie, British Columbia, offers runners three race options: a half marathon (21 km), 10 km, and 5 km run/walk. The scenic trail course begins and ends at James White Park, winding along the Elk River, at the foot of Mount Fernie, through wooded areas in Coal Creek, and within the park itself. Known for its beautiful natural surroundings, the event fosters a supportive and community-focused atmosphere, with student volunteers enhancing the experience.
