Fenton Festival of Fitness

The inaugural Fenton Festival of Fitness is a multi-day sports event held at Ivan Williams Stadium at Fenton High School. The festival features a combination of traditional running races and a hybrid fitness competition held on the football field and track.

The event schedule is split across two days:

  • 1-Mile Run (Friday evening)
  • Impactt Fit Fest Showdown (Friday evening)
  • 5K Run/Walk (Saturday morning)
  • Double Challenge (Both the 1-Mile and 5K events)

The 1-Mile Run is a fast, flat course that finishes on the stadium track under stadium lighting. The 5K Run/Walk follows an out-and-back route with a split time recorded at the 2.5 km mark, also concluding on the track. For the Impactt Fit Fest Showdown, teams of four compete in a 15-minute AMRAP-style hybrid workout on the field. This competition includes Co-Ed, Male, and Female divisions.

Participants receive chip timing with live results, a custom dri-fit shirt, and a finisher medal. Awards are provided for overall and age group winners, with special recognition for the top finishers in the Double Challenge. Parking is available at the stadium off Donaldson Drive. Proceeds from the event benefit local first responders and community programs such as Toys for Tots. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
