Fen Gallop 2026
The Fen Gallop is a chipped timing event held on flat country roads, footpaths and bridleways around Willingham in Cambridgeshire. The courses use a mix of concrete, gravel and trail surfaces and return to Willingham before reaching Over. The event base is Willingham Recreation Ground, West Fen Road, Willingham CB24 5LP.
Race options include:
- 10 km multi terrain race on concrete, gravel and trails
- 4 miles multi terrain option on similar surfaces
The main races are chip timed. Walkers may enter the 4 mile option without timing. The event capacity is 500 entrants and entries close on 29 June 2026. Early bird pricing applies until 31 March 2026. Transfers or deferrals are allowed with at least one month notice and no refunds are offered.
Age rules and supervision requirements are stated by the organisers: the minimum age for the 10 km is 15 years; the 4 mile event minimum is 11 years. Children under 11 may run the 4 mile option only when accompanied to the event by a parent or guardian; a disclaimer must be signed for all runners under 16. All proceeds from the day go to the Willingham School Association and other local charity groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
