Feet to the Fire 5K Run/Walk is a community road event held in Hicksville, New York, with the venue at Hicksville Fire Department Station Four, 1 Levittown Parkway, Hicksville, NY 11801. The course begins in front of the firehouse, follows Levittown Parkway south, turns onto Root Lane, Brittle Lane, Grape Lane, returns via Brittle and Root Lanes, and finishes back on Levittown Parkway at the firehouse.
Parking is available in the shopping center next to the firehouse. Amenities include on-site bathrooms, live online and text results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for registrants who register three weeks in advance. The first 250 registrants receive a race T-shirt, and participants aged 21 and over receive one complimentary beer with their bib after the race.
Registration options list a standard 5K Run/Walk entry and a reduced rate for first responders. Registration fees are non refundable and used toward race expenses. Last-minute registrants within 24 hours can receive their bib number by text within 90 seconds; bib pickup is handled by event staff starting one hour before the event and requires a bib number for pickup.
