Feet to the Fire 5K Run/Walk
The Feet to the Fire 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 24, 2026 at Hicksville Fire Department Station Four, 1 Levittown Parkway, Hicksville, NY 11801. The event is an in-person 5K run and walk that starts and finishes at the firehouse.
Registration options include a standard 5K entry and a first responder rate; listed fees include processing charges. Registration fees are non refundable and are used to cover race expenses. The first 250 registrants receive a race T shirt, and participants age 21 and older receive a complimentary beer with their bib after the race. Bathrooms are available on site. Registered participants receive live online, email, and text results, plus free finish line photos. Personalized bibs are available for registrations completed at least three weeks before race day; last minute registrants receive their bib number by text.
The published course begins in front of the firehouse, continues south on Levittown Parkway, then follows Root Lane, Brittle Lane, and Grape Lane before returning north on Levittown Parkway back to the firehouse. Awards include top three male and female first responders, top three male and female overall, and male and female winners in multiple age groups from 19 and under through 90 plus.
