Feet to the Fire 5K Run/Walk - Hicksville, NY
Feet to the Fire is a 5-kilometer community run/walk held on October 24, 2026 at Hicksville Fire Department Station Four, 1 Levittown Parkway, Hicksville, NY 11801. Parking is available in the shopping center next to the firehouse. The event proceeds in front of the firehouse and follows a loop that runs south on Levittown Parkway, turns onto Root Lane, Brittle Lane, and Grape Lane, then returns north on Levittown Parkway to the firehouse.
Registration options include a standard 5K entry and a reduced fee for first responders. Registration fees are non-refundable. Participants who register at least three weeks in advance receive a personalized bib. Bib pickup is handled by event staff beginning one hour before the event; last-minute registrants can receive their bib number by text.
Event amenities listed by the organizer include a race T-shirt for the first 250 registrants, a complimentary beer for participants age 21 and over with their bib after the race, on-site bathrooms, live results via web/text/email, free finish-line photos, and same-day video and photo posting. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and among first responders, plus age-group awards from 19 & under through 90+.
