Feet for the Street 5K & 7 Miler : Salem Lake, Winston-Salem
The Feet for the Street 5K & 7 Miler takes place on April 25, 2026, at Salem Lake Greenway in Winston-Salem. The event supports the Winston-Salem Street School, a private nonprofit alternative high school program serving at-risk students in Forsyth County. Over the last 21 years nearly 400 students have graduated from the Street School and received an accredited high school diploma.
The event includes multiple participation options:
- Feet for the Street 5K (in person)
- Feet for the Street 7 Miler (in person)
- Feet for the Street Virtual 5K
- Feet for the Street Virtual 7 Miler
Course and facilities information notes that the 5K starts and finishes on the Salem Lake trail beside the playground, parking and restrooms at the lake main entrance. The 7 Miler follows the loop that circles Salem Lake and uses the same start and finish location. Race results are posted immediately after the events on the event website and on the Twin City Track Club website.
Awards and participant items include custom finisher medals for all finishers, special awards for top three male and female overall 5K winners with Fleet Feet gift cards, cash prizes for the top three male and female 7 Miler finishers, and $20 Fleet Feet gift cards for first place in each age group.
