Details
The race is described as a charity event to benefit children who have lost a parent to cancer. The organizer states that 22% of profits will go to The Totally RAD Foundation and that additional race donations will be used to support local families in Lake County facing financial hardship due to cancer. The event will be professionally chip timed. Every in-person participant will receive a custom medal, T-shirt, and a swag bag; the virtual option includes a mailed bib, shirt, medal, and swag. There will be a post-race gathering with food, music, and a raffle featuring prizes from local donors. Awards include prizes for the top three men and women in each event and bonus medals for five-year age group winners. Dogs are allowed on leash and participants may run, walk, or use strollers.
