Fayetteville Spartan Weekend
The Fayetteville Spartan Weekend takes place at McCormick Farms in Spring Lake, North Carolina. This venue features over 1,000 acres of variable terrain, providing a course that includes dense forests, rolling hills, and steep riverbanks. A notable feature of the landscape is a 200-foot deep quarry that is integrated into the racing environment.
Participants can choose from several obstacle course racing distances:
- Sprint 5K: 20 obstacles
- Super 10K: 25 obstacles
- Beast 21K: 30 obstacles
- Ultra 50K: 60 obstacles
- Kids Race: 1-3 km with obstacles
The Beast and Ultra events are scheduled for Saturday, while the Super 10K takes place on Sunday. The Sprint and Kids races are available on both days. This event is a Trifecta Weekend, which allows participants to complete the Sprint, Super, and Beast distances within a single weekend.
In addition to the main races, an obstacle workshop is held on the Friday before the competition. The venue provides spectator access for those who wish to view the races.
