Santa Shuffle 5k & 1 Mile
Santa Shuffle 5k & 1 Mile takes place on December 12, 2026, along the Cape Fear River Trail in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The event is non-competitive and non-timed and is intended as a festive, community activity on a paved trail near 445 Treetop Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28305.
The event offers the following distance options:
- 5K
- 1 mile
Participants may choose either distance; turnaround points for both routes will be marked. The event allows strollers and welcomes pets. The organizer notes an interest in festive participants, including running Santas, walking Santas, Santa Paws, and children in costume.
There is a virtual option. For virtual participants who are not local, a Santa suit if applicable, a bib, and a medal will be shipped. Local virtual participants may pick up items at Fleet Feet Fayetteville.
Registration opens July 24, 2026, and closes December 12, 2026. The registration fee is $45. Packet and Santa suit pickup is available in-store at Fleet Feet Fayetteville on Thursday, December 10 (11:00 to 18:00) and Friday, December 11 (10:00 to 18:45).
