Fayette Thistle Run 5K
Bull Thistle Arts Festival Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Fayette, Ohio, organizes the 5th Annual Thistle Run 5K as a fundraiser for the Bull Thistle Arts Festival. The event supports the local arts festival and is presented as a community activity.
The event is open to runners and walkers and covers a 5K distance (3.1 miles). The course begins on Park Street, runs through residential streets north of US Route 20, and returns to Park Street at the community park.
Awards are planned for first place finishers in several age groups. Participants who register by May 1 will receive a t shirt, and all registered runners and walkers will receive a finisher medal.
Registration opens February 22 and closes May 1. Fee tiers are $25 through May 1, $30 from May 2 to May 22, and $35 on race day. Packet pickup is scheduled Friday, May 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at a private residence and on race day at the park at 7:00 am.
