Fathers & Families 5K Fun Walk/Run
The Fathers and Families event is a community 5K walk/run that aims to promote the role of fathers as a stabilizing presence in the home and community. Hosted by A Father’s Legacy, Inc., the Second Annual Fathers and Families Fun Walk/Run raises awareness and support for programs that empower both young and mature fathers to build strong families and thriving communities.
The event takes place at Pratt Park, 120 River Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22405. The course follows paved and gravel surfaces and winds along the back side of the YMCA. On-site features include music, a photographer, an award ceremony, and post-race refreshments held at Pratt Park.
