Event Overview
The Fathers & Families 5K Fun Walk/Run takes place on June 13, 2026. It is the second annual event hosted by A Father’s Legacy, Inc. The purpose of the event is to promote the role of fathers in the home and community, and to raise awareness and support for programs that empower fathers.
Course and Location
The 5K event is held at Pratt Park, located at 120 River Road in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The course uses paved and gravel surfaces and winds along the back side of the local YMCA.
What's Included
The registration fee includes an official t-shirt, a finisher medal, and post-race refreshments. T-shirts and sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after May 22, 2026. There will also be monetary gift awards for top finishers.
On-Site Activities
The event will have music, a photographer, and an award ceremony at Pratt Park after the race. A food truck, Shawarma Rama, will be on site with food available for purchase.
Packet Pickup
Participants can pick up their race packets at Lucky Road Run Shop on June 11th or at Fleet Feet Fredericksburg on June 12th. Packet pickup is also available on race day at Pratt Park starting at 7:00 AM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
